Membership in Fan.C -  All memberships will include personalized display options: Networking, event calendars, custom searches, cause awareness (#MMIW, #NoDAPL, #HonortheTreaties, etc.), focus groups (jingle dancing, regalia, beading, drumming, technology, film, etc.), Buy Native searches, email, dashboard, and Fan.C spotlight notifications such as Today's Native Rising and Missing in Indian Country broadcasts.

Membership types, as described below, will also include the additional functionality listed.

Citizen – An indigenous descendant who is physically or spiritually among a Native community, identifies with Native heritage, and supports and promotes Indian Country. New Citizens are invited by existing Fan.C Citizens and no "card" is necessary.

  • See My Tribal News, register for events, create a profile that gives maximum visibility in Fan.C and identify opportunities to promote themselves and other Citizens across Indian Country.  Your expertise, skills, and interests, whether Native focused or not, can be promoted.

Scout – A representative of a company or organization that supports and promotes indigenous Citizens and needs Fan.C to help identify them. Scouts can register without intervention but may be rejected by Fan.C if intent is found to be malicious.

  • Post company events, search for Citizens, submit email and dashboard notifications or inquiries to Citizens or Citizen Groups, and support and promote the people of Indian Country

Tribe – An indigenous organization formed to organize, support, promote, and educate its citizens using knowledge of history, government, and commerce in an equitable and harmonious manner. Tribes are confirmed as needed but must be an organization with an official list of Tribal members. Fan.C Citizens who choose to affiliate with a Tribe are not confirmed by Fan.C, nor required to be confirmed, as members of a specific Tribe within Fan.C protocols).

  • Post Tribal events and messages, receive event registration notifications and reports

Guests – Consumers will be able to select a Fan.C Buy Native browser plug-in and search for authentic indigenous products or service providers and create an optional Scout profile.
